IDW Little Book of Horror: The War of the Worlds

IDW will release their next book in the Little Book of Horror line with The War of the Worlds. Adapted by Steve Niles (30 Days of Nights) and art duties handled by Ted McKeever. Here's the synopsis:

There are invasion stories, and then there is H.G. Wells's The War of the Worlds, the first and most harrowing of them all. And now there is IDW Publishing's Little Books of Horror line, offering a faithful re-presentation of Wells's classic tale of horror. Joining writer Steve Niles (Little Book of Horror: Frankenstein) on this second volume is artist Ted McKeever (Metropol), whose warped sensibilities will show you the true terror of the original novel in ways you never envisioned. As with all Little Books of Horror, this special hardcover will present nothing but full-page spreads, accompanied by Niles's faithful re-telling of the original story. HC, 48pgs, FC: $15.99
