Horror Industry Releases

We get a boatload of news from horror filmmakers, musicians, writers, and artists each week. We unfortunately don't have the staff to get a news angle on all of them but it's still stuff we think you'd be interested in. So as a means to get you the same news they send us, we're going to use this place for their press releases.

German Horror Flick Chain Reaction Set for February

Christopher, from the fantastic German horror web site www.gruselseite.com, dropped Really Scary a line about a new horror flick.

Chain Reaction is a german prouction and was directed by Olaf Ittenbach (Premutos - Lord of the Living Dead, Riverplay, Legion of the Dead, Beyond the Limits).

On his way to work Dr. Douglas Madsen in his car collides with a prison bus - a bizarre accident, caused by an incredible chain reaction! The four surviving prisoners kill all the guards and decide to flee over the nearby canadien border. They force Doug to join then as one of the group is severly injured and a doctor could be of help.

After a couple of hours marching through the wilderness they - unexpectedly - come upon a very old, mysterious and gigantic house. But even more mysterious seem the residents. The eremit "family" wears medieval clothes and speaks an ancient dialect! Only Alice, a a young women seems to differ from the rest of the family.

The German release of Chain Reaction will be in February 2006. An international release will also be soon.
