We get a boatload of news from horror filmmakers, musicians, writers, and artists each week. We unfortunately
don't have the staff to get a news angle on all of them but it's still stuff we think you'd be interested in. So as a means to
get you the same news they send us, we're going to use this place for their press releases.

Revenant Set to Lens in Wisconsin
Revenant, the new film by award-winning filmmaker Jacob Strunk is set to lens in 2005 in the dark woods of Wisconsin. Strunk (Valhalla, A Shadow Before Sunrise) directs from his own script.
Producing Revenant are Strunk's Seven Miles West of Town Productions and Dan Wilson (The Hand Job, A Model Woman) of Milwaukee's Bartoli Filmworks. Teller (the smaller, quieter half of world-famous duo Penn & Teller) is executive producing the picture. Shade Rupe of Dark Sky Films and Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie Moments acts as associate producer. Veteran cinematographer Ian Vollmer (Being With Me , TV's Survivor) has signed on to bring the dark surrealism of Strunk's vision to the screen.
Los Angeles actor Ronnie Marmo (West of Brooklyn, Deuces Wild, A Bronx Tale) stars in the haunting tale of memory and regret, fresh off his highly praised role as Lenny Bruce in Lenny's Back (and boy is he pissed!) at Theatre 68 in L.A.
Strunk's films, including 2003's Valhalla and 2004's A Shadow Before Sunrise, have screened across the world. Teller has enjoyed showbiz success for three decades as a part of Penn & Teller, currently performing every night but Tuesday at the Rio in Las Vegas.
