They're Not Dolls...They're Living Dead Dolls!
We don't usually go in for dolls, we call them action figures. But in this case we'll make an exception. Check out these bad boys! Living Dead Dolls are about $110 for a case. They're in stock now and here's what you get in a case: 2x Sin, 1x Damian, 2x Sadie, and 1x Posey.

And remember, everytime you buy from Entertainment Earth through a Really Scary link, you help support our action figure habit!

Another incredibly cool set they have up for pre-order is the Clive Barker/Todd McFarlane masterpieces, Tortured Souls. A case is running $109.99 and you get a whopping 12 figures in that case. Definitely a sure-fire way not to miss out on the figures you want but may never find on the shelves (and if you've gotten a good look at these figures, I'd be stunned to find them at your local "Mom Complaints Get Action Figure Yanked" Wal-mart.)

Click here to get a look at Tortured Souls. And click here for the Movie Maniacs 4 lineup for pre-order. This set includes 12 figures including The Terminator T-800 (Arnold), The Terminator T-1000 (Liquid Metal, Cop), Jason X, The Blair Witch, Evil Ash and Candyman 3.

Children of the Living Dead Update?
We're calling on our Really Scary-ites again! You always come through with answers to our questions and now we've got another one for you. We recently got a letter from one of your fellow Scary-ites:

I just want to know if you can tell me when the movie "Children of the living dead" is going to be released? Thank you.

We dug around and haven't come up with much yet. The film is being produced by Westwood Artists International Inc. We've been unable to find a website for them but we did find a phone number. So far it's been busy but we'll keep trying. Anybody else out there have any information? Drop us a line at support@reallyscary.com. Thanks!

Jason X Update
The Diabolical Dominion (via Creature Corner) clears up some rumors about Jason X. It will not be going direct-to-video and New Line has not dropped it. As of today, they are still advertising the film on their website, www.newline.com. And the film is not being bumped back any further. It's set for April 17.

The also report the trailer has been completed. The original was deemed "too intense" for TV, but will be appearing on the web soon. A more tamed down version will hit theaters and TV sometime, but New Line can't say when yet.

We May See House of 1,000 Corpses by Halloween
Entertainment Weekly (via DH) talked with Rob Zombie who updates us on the film's current status "The movie is 99 percent finished and we're down to one or two distributors. With luck, it'll be in theaters by Halloween."

Meantime Creature Corner was chatting with Bill Mosley at the first Splatterpalooza convention over the weekend and scored some good info: "Bill told the crowd that Rob is now talking to one distributor who would love to take House of 1000 Corpses and, get this, they would like Rob to ADD more gruesome imagery to the film. Amazing. One studio wants the film off their hands because it's too nasty and the other studio wants to take it and make it nastier."

The Latest Planet of the Apes News
Dark Horizons reports the Denver Starfest Convention takes place from April 20 to 22 with Fox set to do a special 'Apes' display booth that includes over 400 lbs. of props such as 5 Ape masks, spears, flags, clubs, swords, pendants, new posters, collectors cards, and expect both the old and new trailer to air.

The next big thing though is Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who will be on-stage to discuss playing 'Krull' while a behind-the-scenes documentary on it and various other films will also air. Meantime Fox has made exhibitors aware the third 'Apes' trailer will be attached to Dr. Dolittle 2 on June 22.

And here's a new image that's popped up on eBay, potentially a new teaser poster? We're not sure.

Matrix II Soundtrack Additions
Dark Horizon's reports that over at MP3.Com there's talk that UK artists DarkUFO will have its "Extraterrestrial Biological Entity" and "Crash Landing (greenhaus edit)" tracks used in the Matrix sequel.

Some Harry Potter Fans Looking for Trailer Freebie
Variety reports some mischievous Muggles are looking for a free ride when it comes to watching the trailer for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Apparently hordes of impatient Potter fans, anxious for a sneak peek at the upcoming film, have been purchasing full-price tickets for the sole purpose of catching the trailer. Heck with Josie and the Pussycats or even Spy Kids--these Muggle moviegoers have apparently concocted a scheme to just see the two-minute Harry preview and then go home, without losing any money.

Since most movie theaters have refund policies for those who have a less-than enjoyable cinematic experience, the Potter fans are leaving the theatres after watching the trailer and demanding their money back. And that has the General Cinemas theather chain in a huff.

"We've posted signs that if they're there to see the trailer, they can't come out and ask for a refund afterward," says General Cinemas spokesman Brian Callaghan. "If they're big fans and come out to catch a glimpse of Harry Potter, they can't do it for free."

Final Destination 2 Set for a Fall Shoot
DH reports definitive status on the Final Destination sequel has come through - shooting will begin post strike sometime this fall with a script revision to take place shortly.

Banderas Talks Phantom of the Opera
DH reports Antonio Banderas recently talked quite candidly about the status of the The Phantom of the Opera movie to The Daily Express: "Two weeks ago, Andrew Lloyd Webber called me. He was very excited on the phone. He said, "Antonio, we got it. We’ve got the script that we want to have. And I wrote the new music I wanted to write."

What about those fans pushing hard for Michael Crawford in the role? "Michael Crawford, he made what actors call a creation, something that was his own, but what happens in the movies is not for an individual to decide. I am not the only actor. If you said it was going to John Travolta, not me, I would shrug and wait for another project. With this film we are not trying to draw in people who really love the theatre and go to the movie to see what they saw on stage. That would be wrong. We are creating a completely different concept, looking at it from a completely different point of view. It will be a new creation with even new music. A lot of the music you have heard in the theatre version is being cut out."

Halloween 8 Title Set
Dark Horizons reports the title of the next Halloween film will be: Halloween 8: The Vengeful Legacy. Re-writes are currently being done, with screenwriters Sean Hood and James Kershaw handling the duties. This just in: someone with too much time on their hands pulled the wool over Dark Horizon's eyes and this report is completely false.

He passed away of complications from lymphoma, which he had been battling for about four years.
