Misfits Kicking Off 25th Anniversary Tour in NYC this Week
The first show of the launch to the Misfits 25th Anniversary will be held where it all began....NYC. On April 18, 1977 the Misfits played their first gig ever at CBGBs in NYC. As the 'fits head into their 25th year, it all kicks off at Roseland (52nd street between 8th Ave & Broadway) in NYC.

Although there is still no announcement as to who the new Misfits drummer will be, the official site says that most recently Jerry and Doyle have been jamming regularly with none other than Robo from Black Flag.

Tickets are available from Ticketmaster and the Roseland box office (who has special commemorative tickets available).

They'll also have a party afterward at the WWF NY (in Times Square). The party will include a post concert jam with the Misfits and special guests, autograph signings, Misfits video screenings including music videos, unreleased concert footage and more surprises.

Next Dark Tower Installment Delayed
The Stephen King newsletter points out a change to the official SK site. This from Mr. King:

"Finishing up Black House is taking longer than anticipated which has put off the fifth Dark Tower a bit longer. The current plan is to begin it this summer. We do not have a publication date, but can say that it is unlikely to be in bookstores in 2001."

American Psycho Sequel Details Released
According to the The Hollywood Reporter, Mila Kunis (Get Over It) will topline American Psycho II, the sequel to last year's American Psycho, for Lions Gate Prods. and director Morgan J. Freeman (Hurricane Streets).

A sequel was expected. Last month, Lions Gate said it was "sorting through existing scripts at the company" to mold a Psycho follow-up. Psycho II is slated to go before cameras in mid-May in Toronto from a script being written by Karen Craig and Alex Sanger. Lions Gate said it will complete the film before time runs out on contract negotiations with the Screen Actors Guild on June 30. The film, which will be sold at the upcoming Cannes International Film Festival, is budgeted at nearly $10 million, sources said.

The sequel to Psycho -- the big-screen adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' 1991 novel following yuppie serial killer Patrick Bateman -- will star Kunis as a college freshman who survived an attack by Bateman. After developing a dark obsession to join a professor as his teaching assistant, the crafty coed sets out to destroy anyone who gets in her way.

Joel Grey Guesting on Buffy
Variety reports (via Cinescape) reports actor Joel Grey will be turning up on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer season finale. Grey will take on the role of an underworld god in the episode which is likely to be cloaked under the veil of secrecy.
